Ville is an experienced innovation investment advisor specializing in strategically engaging with the global startup ecosystem. Over his 15+ year career as a venture investor and advisor, Ville has successfully helped prominent public and private sector clients design and execute forward-thinking investment strategies.

A serial entrepreneur, Ville co-founded multiple successful startups throughout his career, most notably Swappie, Europe's rapidly scaling refurbished electronics company. He is also the founder of Slush, the world's leading startup and technology conference, a platform he continues to grow to further foster dynamic relationships between startups and global corporations. 

Ville has contributed significantly to the growth of the VC and private equity landscape in the Nordics through his engagement with organizations like Tesi, the Finnish state-owned investment company. As a past member of Tesi's Investment Council, he helped shape investment strategies aimed at strengthening Finland’s entrepreneurial ecosystem through both LP and direct investments. 

Currently, Ville serves as a Scout for Atomico, one of Europe's leading venture capital firms, and holds advisory roles with the UK's premier deep tech accelerator ConceptionX as well as with Spintop Ventures, a prominent €100 million pan-Nordic venture fund.

Ville holds a master’s from the London School of Economics (UK) and a bachelor’s from Aalto University (Finland).
