Daniela Proske brings more than 20 years of experience as an investor, corporate executive, and entrepreneur, with deep expertise in energy, biotechnology, and mobility. She has built a track record of driving investments that align with global decarbonization goals and fostering partnerships that deliver both financial and strategic impact.

As managing partner at bp Ventures, the venturing arm of bp, she was responsible for a portfolio of more than $350M across electrification, sustainable food, low carbon fuels, mobility, and AI, and served on the boards of RepairPal, Fulcrum Bioenergy, FreeWire Technologies, Ryd, Calysta, Sevice4Charger and others. Most recently she led RepairPal through its successful $80M acquisition by Yelp.

Before leading bp Ventures, Daniela held senior leadership roles at BASF, the world’s largest chemical producer, managing international M&A transactions across several business units and leading BASF Ventures for North America.  Previous to this, she cofounded NascaCell Technologies AG, where she served as Head of Finance, raised venture capital funding, and ultimately took the company public on the German stock market.  

Daniela holds a PhD in biochemistry from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and a degree in economics from the St. Galler Business School in Switzerland.
